主要研究方向：
极端环境药用植物的适应机制；珍稀濒危植物的快速繁殖及人工驯化；利用植物细胞及器官培养生产次生代谢产物

1994-1998：西北大学生物系药用植物专业学士学位；
1999-2002：西北大学生物系植物学专业硕士学位；
2002-2003：南京大渊生物技术工程有限责任公司，负责生物芯片研制；
2003-2008：中国科学院过程工程研究所生物化工国家重点实验室博士学位；
2008-至今：西北大学，西部资源生物与现代生物技术省部共建教育部重点实验室
